Quick Note
If you have already downloaded the "Spring" printable you will need to do it again. I made some improvements on them after I had mine printed out at Costco. The yellow on the "P" got cropped off and the back ground on the "r" was waaaaaaay to dark (it looked more red then pink). AND, the "s" was blurry. Not sure why, but I fixed it. So, now that they have been adjusted, you should have a much better result when getting them printed!

Organizing Toys
I have been trying to get the kid's toys more organized. I bought a bunch of plastic storage bins from Dollar Tree. I whipped out my Cricut and cut out the labels for all the bins. I spent some time weeding the vinyl and putting it onto the bins. Then I helped the kids put the toys into the bins. Here is my finished result.
(Legos, Army, Bullets)
I was really excited because the kids were so excited to put away their toys:) YEAH! A little later my son comes to me holding one of the bins and says, "mommy, what does this say?" CRAP!!!!
All those beautifully labeled bins are pretty much worthless because neither one of my kids can read then! HA! Back to the drawing board. On my to do list this week: making some pictures to go along with those labels.

Say Cheese....
I am still practicing on manual mode with my camera. A few days ago, we took a trip to the park with some friends. Here a few of my favorite pics.
These next 2 shots I love because they were candid moments I captured of my son playing.

Only this little princess can make the park look this glamorous.
We had a visit from the tooth fairy a few days ago, can you tell. I can't get enough of of that toothless grin and the lisp that goes along with it. It makes me so happy.

I have a weakness for this little man. I cannot resist him. He is the happiest and snuggliest little man I have ever met.
I am starting to feel like I am getting the hang of my camera. Every picture gets better and better.

He just made the slide look so much fun.

Subway Art Printable
I saw this on Lil Luna. Totally adorable, right!?!
Well, it is vinyl and I figured not everyone has a vinyl machine so I decided to turn it into a free printable for you! Just put it in a frame and you are good to go! I had to change it a tiny bit to make it generic for everyone, but it still turned out cute.

Photo Shoot
My friend had her baby at my house the other day and we did an impromptu photo shoot. She is GORGEOUS! Can you seriously handle those blue eyes and long dark eyelashes!?! She is scrumptious!

This picture was so tender. I loved that she is enjoying her momma's kisses so much.

Covering a Mistake
I had this really adorable scrap of fabric, but I had a rectangle cut out of it. I really wanted to use it for my sister's changing pad bag. I thought I could sew a rectangle into it, but it was not working out. This is after several attempts and a lot of unpicking.
So, I cut out some circles from some t-shirt vinyl so it would look like a button. I have been thinking about adding string through the small blue holes so it looks like the button is sewn on. Thoughts?

Exercise
Saturday my hubby was insistent that we go the the gym and exercise. I kept dragging my feet and saying, "I think we will be okay." He wouldn't let off. So, I finally caved and did a 1/4 mile run with him. Now, before you think I am lazy, I knew we would have a large delivery. That delivery was 4 tons of rock. Yep, 4 TONS! I am pretty sure he under estimated how much work would be involved in moving that rock. At 8 pm we were finally finished and hubby flopped onto the couch and said, "I am so glad you won't let us go to the gym today. I am exhausted." See, I was smarter then he realized. Here are some before, during, and after shots.
So, don't judge people. I seriously HATE yard work. I want as low maintenance yard as possible. So, Here is the un-weeded needs serious help before:

First we laid down Weed Block. Then hubby and I got to work shoveling the rock into a wheel barrow and dumping it all over. We smoothed out the rock and here it is in all its glory. Finished and ready for a few bushes and a drip system. I am soooooooo glad that is over. FYI: buying direct from a rock quarry is the way to go. $20 for 1 ton.
It was dark by the time we finished so we still have a few areas that need smoothed out.

Notice the dead tree bushes!?! Yeah, there's four of them that were killed by frost a few weeks ago. That's $320 down the drain. I am not bitter at all, just bugged. We are putting ever greens in because they can withstand heat and frost. Much better bang for our buck.
Of course a huge pile of rock is any little boys dream. He had so much fun on it. He pretended to be on the moon. Can you see how high he can jump without gravity;)
He jumped off of it multiple times.
He used it as a slide, Pay close attention to his face. I left it on so you could see how cool he thought it was.
He also pretended it has a huge mountain that he had to climb up. "It was very difficult mommy, but I made it!"

It was dark by the time we finished so we still have a few areas that need smoothed out.

So, for exercise on Saturday I increased the value of home a little bit for under $100:) Hubby needs to fix some of the brick around the boarders, but that is for another day. Our next home improvement project will be a drip system and a few bushes.
