We love ribs. I have been trying alot of new recipes to find our favorite. Here's one of our homeruns. The sauce just sticks to the ribs perfectly.
1. Pour a can of coke in the bottom of a roasting pan or cake pan(depends on how big your ribs are)
2. Put a rack in the pan.
3. Score both sides of the meat. Season your Meat with salt, pepper, and paparika. I also add some meat tenderizer. Just sprinkle all these ingredients on both sides till they are covered.
4. Place the meat on the rack in the pan. It will not be sitting in the coke.
5. Put into a preheated oven 215 degrees for 4 hours or more. If you go over 1/2 an hour it won't make a big difference.
6. When they are done dump all the juice from the pan into a saucepan.
7. Add to it applebutter, brown sugar, pepper, garlic powder, hot pepper jelly, cider vinegar,& worchestershire sauce. Boil till this mixture coats the back of the spoon.
9. Place ribs in a big ziplock bag with the sauce. Marinate for several hours or over night.
10. You can place them on the grill or put them in a pan and back into the oven for 45 minutes at 375 degrees.
