Make and Mingle

Just a reminder, the apron give away ends tomorrow. You can enter HERE.

Ladies! It's time for another make-n-mingle. This month we are making Bean Bags! Don't worry, it a free pattern that anyone can download:) plus, they are 'sew' easy to make! Yes, I am funny and creative! So come, have fun, and sew sew sew!

Cost: what ever you want to spend on fabric and stuffing!

***Sas Fabric (1111 East Indian School Road, Phoenix, AZ) is a really great place to get cheap and adorable fabric. They will also have the Velcro for cheap. They might even have bean bag stuffing or foam that you could cut up***

When: May 13th
Where: My house
Time: 7:00pm

You will need:
  1. 3 yards of heavy fabric for the liner. I just bought mine at Wal-mart for $1 a yard. (Color doesn't matter, just make sure it is a thick fabric)
  2. You need an assortment of different fabrics that total 3 yards. You can do it all in one fabric OR 1 1/2 yards of 2 different fabrics  OR  3/4 yards of 4 different fabrics OR 17 inches of 5 different fabrics (make sure fabric is at least 45 " wide. If it is smaller, you will have to get more fabric than mentioned above)  ****Don't go smaller than 16" X 45" ****
  3. 30" of 3/4" Velcro.
  4. Matching thread
  5. A sewing machine and scissors (I have 2 machines, but if you have one, bring it.)
  6. Bean bag pellets. (200 liters of recycled polystyrene pellets or foam)
***Don't bring your bean bag stuffing. That is something you can do yourself at home! We'll just be cutting and sewing***

Ha ha! I totally forgot to change the date. No, we were going to do these last month, but then changed it so Criscell could do the family home evening boards. Thanks for catching that!
