The Secrete to Cleaning Stainless Steal

The word STAINLESS steal makes you think that your stainless steal pots will never get stained. Right!?! Wrong......well until recently.
Remember THIS post. My pan was having some issues and it was not coming clean.
So I asked for help from you guys. I got a few ideas, but until a yesterday nothing was working. Then an angel, whom I would like to hug, left me this comment:

Pots and Pans

So, I have stainless steal pots and pans. After burning a gourmet meal (see HERE) I was left with this mess. That gunk will NOT come off.
So I googled myself some help. The consensus was vinegar and baking soda. I let it sit for about 1 day.
Here it is looking a little better, but not the results I wanted or was told to expect.
Any ideas? We are in the process of soaking it in vinegar and baking soda again. Brillo pads didn't work and they just scratched the pan so that was a no go. I am sick of it sitting on my counter or sink.

Dry Erase Boards

Have you ever had marker that won't come off the dry erase board or it leaves a big colored smear.  I wrote on one and left it for a month.  Water and a little pressure was taking forever, or just not working.   Today I discovered how to clean it off.  Good old BAKING SODA did the trick.  Just put a little baking soda on a rag or paper towel and wipe.  Simple - Easy - Cheap

Around the House

This is a random post, but one I think you will find quite interesting. It's home remedies around the house!
For a natural teeth whitening, rub orange pills on your teeth (the white side on your teeth). Then after you are finished whitening your teeth, grind them up in your garbage disposal for a fresher smell:)

For build up in your hair, usually caused from hair products, use a teaspoon of baking soda and mix it into your shampoo. Scrub into your hair and it will remove all the build up.

For a closer, softer shave. Try using vegetable oil or something similar. It will lubricate your legs too so no need to lotion afterward! Plus, it gives you a closer shave than shaving cream because it doesn't buildup in your shaver.

To save the clear protective coat on your tile and grout, use vinegar to scrub your floors.  Most cleaners will damage and remove the clear protective coat on your tile and grout so you should not use them. Vinegar is a safe and effective way to clean your floors. If you need the 'clean' smell just fill your sink full of hot water and pour a little Pine Sol into the water. Let it sit while you clean your floors. It will clean your sink and leave your house smelling fresh, BUT won't ruin your finish on the floors.

READ THIS

I am not sure how many medical student's wives read my craft blog. I just want to tell all of them to read this book. I seriously love it and it will help you REALLY understand what your hubby will go through during residency. I have a copy for anyone who wants to borrow it.

Bloody Mess

My daughter rolled off the couch and bit her lip. Her mouth filled with blood and it quickly spread to her clothing and the carpet. I have a little secret of how to get blood out of carpet, clothing, upholstery, anything! It is a miracle worker. Guess what. It's totally FREE!

All you do is spit directly onto the blood and let sit for a few seconds. The rub out. The enzymes in your spit break up the blood and it comes out.... COMPLETELY! BUT I have never tried it on blood stays that have been there for months or years. So, maybe someone could let me know if that works.

Now onto a Stocking Stuffer I bought for myself;) I found it at Big Lots, it was love at first sight!
See, the problem is hubby has tools, but he usually doesn't puts them away. I have to scour the whole house and garage to find what I need. Plus, his tools are so big. Now I have everything I need, right where it needs to be, and it's just the right size!

I put all my tools in this bag.
