Reading List

Here is a never ending list of books. I bold-ed the ones I have read. "Take a look, it's in a book...."

Their Eyes Were Watching God
by Zora Neale Hurston
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald

A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry
These Is My Words by Nancy E. Turner
Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams

King Lear by William Shakespeare
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
Les Miserables by Victor Hugo
A Very Long Engagement by Sebastien Japrisot
The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham

Still, it's difficult to dispute the Top 100 Novels, selected by readers, not by pedants. (However, I find some of these selections disputable!) Still, I've bolded ones I've read, and starred the ones I've read parts of. I suppose we can call these "books that other people are convinced matter." :) For the most part, I can agree.
