Little Boy Onesis, & Head Bands

I helped with a baby shower this weekend.  It was an open house so when ladies came they created a  onesies for the baby boy.  The expecting mother loved it because she had something from everyone that was made with love.  Brenda gave me this idea when I read one of her earlier posts found HERE.

To make these onesies we used HeatNBond Strongest no-sew iron on adhesive. This worked like glue.  We ironed a square, a little bigger then our pattern, directly onto the fabric.  Then we drew on the paper our cute patterns, cut the pattern out, peeled off the paper, and ironed it onto the onesies.  SUPER EASY!!  For inspiration or patterns to buy go to THIS etsy shop.

 Here's where I cut a giraffe out.

I found THIS blog with tons of hair bow ideas, which lead me to THIS blog. We now are making crocheted headbands like crazy.

Love this idea!!! How did the onesies wash up? Since they are not sewn down, did they peel off any? The reason I ask is because I do NOT sew! :) Thanks!

Those shirts are adorable. I would also like to know how they wash (do they fray)? I recently made shirts for my kids, but I used the sewing heat and bond and then sewed around the edges- your way would be so much easier!
