Playing Dress Up

Wanna do a sewing project with me!?! Let's have a dress up party, where you get to make a dress to dress up the lil' women in your life.

Everyday we will do a little bit more. I have to get the pattern ready, so be patient with me as I slack on the posts;)Sizes chidlren 3-6.  I found a free pattern from Burda you can download here  (NOTE: the pattern used for this tutorial is no longer available, but you can use THIS pattern instead).
DON'T print pages 1-3 and 10-11. I designed a dress and we will only be using the body of the dress. I drew the sleeves and neck line. Download the files HERE. This is a sloppy drawing, but you get the idea from it.  You can have it with or without a sash.

I made this one all the same color.

You will need the following supplies. The following chart is child's size and how much yardage to get.

Every size must get the following:
5/8 YD. of 1/4" elastic
1/4 Yd. light weight interfacing

All I ask is that you share your finished dresses with everyone! YEAH! Spread the word, we are going to dress up our lil' women.

Love this dress! Thank you for the pattern! I found the collar, but no sleeves though... Did I miss something?
